The THRIVE Experience

Long ago, I decided 2015 would be my year! I set a few goals for myself (stay tuned) one of them being : Get in shape!

THRIVE by Le-Vel is something that's hard to explain and challenging to describe. << That is the absolute TRUTH! Mom started using this product after hearing about a friends result(s). Above, are pictures of the nutritional facts of the two products I am using. Obviously, I am not a doctor. Today, with a little help from Google, Wikipedia and a few other sites, I have gotten to know Thrive on a whoooole 'nother level. I was going to attempt to write a break down of each of the supplements in these two products but I decided otherwise. I don't want to give false information to ANYONE. Though I am pleased, I encourage you all to sit down and do this study yourself. It is very important (cannot stress this enough) that we know the facts of what we are putting into our bodies. PERIOD. 

Don't become a #Thriver because I BELIEVE the product is flawless. Don't become a #Thriver because if she is willing to take it, it must be "healthy". And last but not least, DON'T become a Thriver because she lost a total of fifteen pounds in 8 weeks and you want the exact same results. 

Become a #Thriver because you did the research on your own. Become a #Thriver because you feel Thrive could be beneficial to your body-mentally and physically.  Become a #Thriver because you already know what giving up feels like and you want to see what happens if you don't!!!

From my personal experience, I've never felt better and NO I am not just saying that. I have tried many, many products and have been disappointed many, many times. I have an extremely low tolerance for caffeine and it has been one heck of a ride looking for something, I felt, was not poison to my body and that supplied me with just the right amount of energy. Key here: the right amount. I have more energy than i've ever had before and not in a bad gitter-y, I-feel-like-I-am-on-crack sort of way (NOT that I would know what that feels like but I am imagining). I have the ability to sit down, focus on and complete projects. Not only is our house clean BUT it is ORGANIZED. I am able to control my hunger. I am able to focus not only on what I am putting into my body but how much I am putting into my body. Good bye stress eating!!! Honestly, I have felt so good this last week that I am contemplating quitting sugar. Note I said contemplating. (: I am working out longer than i've ever been able to.  Hello, endurance and muscle tone! This is what ive been looking for!!! Laundry- CHECK! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner- CHECK! Working out during nap time- CHECK! Taking Hendrix to the park or play ground before Stephen gets home from work (9 times out of 10)- CHECK! Not being in my pajamas when Stephen gets home from work- CHECK! ((To all of my stay at home mommies that know about the pajama thing---I know your jaw just hit the floor because that is friggin' HUGE!!!)) And I am stopping myself because you get the picture but, be warned, I could go on for days!!! Every single day I am more and more amazed by this ridiculously, simple system. I AM THRIVING!!! And I've never been happier!

Hendrix's Favorites / 2 years 1 month

Paul Spring

This is a really great album! Our favorite songs are Peter Pan and Mermaid. They are happy songs that not only put Hendrix in a great mood but also bring out his sweet little dance moves! When Hendrix was in the belly we played a lot of Jack Johnson and John Mayer through headphones! It was always a great way to get some movement out of him! My husband and I both have an infatuation with acoustic guitars and although I don't play my husband does! Long ago, I swore I wouldn't marry someone that couldn't play the guitar and I stuck to my word! My husband and I are crossing our fingers that someday Hendrix will love the sound that we are so passionate about and aspire to play his very own sound as he grows!

"A Little Bit of You" makes me melt into a puddle on the floor. If you've never heard it you are missing out. It is another sweet happy song that your little one can play and dance to! Couldn't / wouldn't dare leave this one out!  PS: I purchased both albums through Apple ITunes! 

 

Melissa & Doug

We are a bit behind in purchasing the next age group of Melissa and Doug puzzles but Hendrix has really enjoyed playing with the both of these! I like the size of the pieces and the fact that each piece has a little nob. He has recently learned how to twist the nobs to make the pieces fit properly. In other words, I will put the pieces upside down on the base in an attempt to trick him into thinking the piece doesn't fit. That small twist of his fingers around the nob make all the difference. (I bet he thinks, "Really, Mom?!") The bright colors are a plus! We have been throwing these into his toy bag when we travel! 

The Pout Pout Fish 

I can 100% say this is Hendrix's favorite book of all time. We were gifted this book several months ago and out of the two shelves of books that we have accumulated he pulls this book out every single time! With that being said, we've invested in the other Pout-Pouts and you can also purchase all of the Pout-Pout books through Apple with narrating. We are especially grateful to be able to do this when traveling at night! 

Farmer Dale's Red Pickup Truck 

Hendrix was gifted this book at Christmas. It reminds me a lot of the Pout-Pout books because both books rhyme. Hendrix hasn't shown interest in any of the books that we have read to him that don't rhyme. I think he has caught on to this whole thing but I'm not positive.

Contouring is very easy to learn! I recommend goggling/youtubing/pinning how to contour different face shapes and finding your's! Same with eyes! It may sound like a lot of work but it is totally worth it.
